Hey there, I am Darla; a wife to my amazing husband, Jordan, and a mother to 4 —yes, you read that correctly— beautiful girls (Dulce, Nina, Perla, & Ayanna). Long before I decided to tap into entrepreneur-territory and finally turn my sartorial passion into an actionable plan, I worked in the corporate world as an accountant for over 10 years!

However, I’ve always had that urge to further explore my other career paths and build something amazing from scratch. I LoVe SHOPPING (yass Jordan) and always wanted to open my own boutique. You see, boutique shopping is the genesis of any outfit-building process for me; it gives me thrills! From walking in and receiving great customer service to finding so many different gems — you name it!

After a few pleads with the husband, I was well on my way to being a boutique owner. In fact, I’m on double-duty, still working my corporate job while also running my own boutique - mastering entrepreneurship and continuing my numbers fascination! On top of that, I absolutely love spending time with my family, shopping (of course), traveling, and reading (nerd alert). I have a sailor's mouth, so heads up if you hear it, I warned you. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!

DD Boutique is an inclusive e-home of a broad range of clothing inspired by centuries of fashion. The end goal? To empower women of all races, sizes, and fashion styles.
